The students were working last week on trying to get their Ozobot to the star. Some were more successful then others and were able to share how they got it to the star.
The students were working either in groups or by themselves on the next portion of Ozobots. They were controlling in which direction the Ozobots were going. The Ozobots didn't always go where the students wanted them to go and some even had to create new codes when trying to get the Ozobots to go in the direction that they wanted.
The students were excited to get the opportunity to work with and learn more about the Ozobots. Today they worked on making different color codes to change the speed of the Ozobot. Here is what the Ozobots look like and the different codes they were able to color in to see the change in speed.
The students worked hard on making sure their codes worked and wanted to show how excited they were to see the changes in speeds.
After they made their codes, they got to test them out and see how the Ozobot did on their own "track".
The snow may be falling outside but there was plenty of fun and exploring happening in the Spark Lab today. The students got to explore the Ozobot's and calibrate them to work on a track that they drew. Some tracks worked better and so they were able to change and add to the tracks that they made. It will be interesting to see what happens next with the learning about Ozobot's.
